🐾 Emmi-pet Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning – A Gentle Way to Support Your Dog’s Oral Health! 🦷✨ Emmi-dent uses 100% ultrasonic waves to clean teeth and gums gently, effectively removing plaque without brushing or abrasion. It is also silent and non-invasive and is becoming the 'go to' teeth cleaning tool of choice across many canine professions. With the convenience of these sessions being carried out during normal training hours with Kirkbourne! WHAT TO EXPECT: Your first session will include an initial consultation, where your dogs dog’s oral health is thoroughly assessed. It is also a chance to discuss any concerns and create a personalised treatment plan. Your dog will also be given its own toothbrush head which then must come to each session. **If your dog has significant tartar build-up, they may first require a professional dental treatment under anaesthetic at your veterinary practice first to make sure the treatment is most effective and your dogs health is maintained** It is expected to take up to 5 regular sessions on the average dog before their teeth are to a good standard. It is a regular maintenance recommendation and not a one off treatment. Each session lasts for approximately 30 minutes. A typical treatment plan: ✔️ Initial consultation and tailored dental plan. ✔️ Weekly Emmi-pet sessions for dogs with mild to moderate tartar build-up to gradually improve oral hygiene. ✔️ Maintenance appointments every 4–6 weeks to help keep teeth clean and healthy. If a puppy: ✔️ Monthly puppy sessions are highly recommended to establish positive handling, promote lifelong dental health and help prevent tartar from developing in the future. The process will be carried out by a registered Veterinary Nurse. This also ensures every treatment is carried out with your pet’s comfort and welfare as the priority.
