The Nova is part of the same family as the Kirkbourne Jive and Trigger leads - redesigned and refined for handlers who want a minimalist setup without losing any of the precision. Same PPM rope. Same marine-grade hardware. Same handmade build from our Yorkshire workshop. The difference: no claw clip on the collar. The handle and collar are joined by a high-quality swivel that moves freely as your dog moves, and that's it. Nothing to clip off. Nothing to get in the way.

If you don't leave a collar on your dog between sessions, this is the lead for that. Slip it on, work the dog, slip it off. Smooth, fast, clean.

How it works:

The swivel is built into the connection between handle and collar. As your dog turns, changes pace, or drops into heel, the lead rotates freely rather than building up twist in the rope. There's no claw clip on this version - the handle and collar stay connected. That makes the Nova a slightly simpler setup than the Eclipse, and for a lot of handlers that's exactly what they want. Less to think about. More focus on the dog.

The collar section sits fine and light on the dog's neck in 4mm or 5mm rope. The handle gives you grip and weight in 6mm or 8mm. At 110cm this is the longer Nova - a bit more handle in the hand, a bit more room to work with when you need it.
