Not everyone uses a slip lead. That's fine.

Maybe you use a standard lead. Maybe your dog goes out on a collar and you only need something extra when you want quick, light control - at a shoot, in training, on a walk where you know things might get lively. You don't want to wrestle with a clip. You don't want a collar the dog has to wear permanently. You just want to be able to loop something over quickly, have immediate control, and get on with it.

That's what this is.

The KB Slip Collar can stay on the dog all day if you need it to. It's not a lead. It doesn't have to be attached to anything. But it can be. The O-ring at the end clips straight onto a standard lead, so if you want to take it from collar to walked dog in two seconds, you can. Or loop your thumb through the ring and walk them without a lead at all - just light, direct contact, the same feel as a slip lead but from a collar that was already on.

The stopper prevents the collar from going over the dog's head - it keeps the collar on, not the lead in place. That's its job and it does it well.

It works for gundogs. It works just as well for any dog, any breed. A Labrador, a German Shepherd, a Cocker, a crossbreed. If you need calm, reliable control without fumbling around with clips and buckles, this does that job.

Braided 6mm PPM rope - same rope we use across the whole lead range. Two lengths: 50cm for most breeds, 65cm for bigger dogs like Labradors.

Hardware choice is ring or thimble. Both are equally good for this collar. The thimble costs a fraction more because the part itself costs more - it's not an upgrade, just a different feel in the hand. Try both if you're not sure which suits you.
