This lead is for a dog that's already done the work.

Once your dog is trained to walk properly at heel - genuinely at heel, not drifting along somewhere near you - a longer lead makes sense. You don't need the mechanism of the short ones anymore. The dog knows where it's supposed to be. The 110cm gives you that little bit of extra length without giving either of you anything to hide behind.

That said, if you're still working on it, start with the KB Heel Slip Lead, the Ball Heel Slip Lead or the Thumb Heel Slip Lead. Get the heel right first. This one's the reward for when you do.

And if you just like a longer lead - that's fine too. Plenty of people do. We make them because people ask for them, and there's nowt wrong with knowing what works for you.
