Open to CLUB MEMBERS and NON-MEMBERS 9am Start This course has been developed with members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and delivered by a qualified Ex Veterinary Nurse, and covers: The role of a first aider Legal compliance The foundations CPR Seizures Bleeds and bandaging Shock GDV Burns & scalds Toxicity Heatstroke Choking Specifically for gundogs, the course will also include the additional areas: Water inhalation Fractures Blunt force trauma Barbed wire injuries Gunshot wounds Glass injuries We also provide a course handbook which covers: Signs of cancer Bee and wasp stings Dog fights Eye injuries Alabama rot Drowning Adder bites On completion of the course, you will receive a CPD accredited certificate that is valid for 3 years. Refreshments are available on arrival and throughout the day, but you will need to bring your own lunch. **This is a non refundable and non transferable booking unless cancelled by the organiser.** Please only purchase if you intend on turning up!
