Please ensure you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions prior to booking on any training session. By placing a booking with Kirkbourne Spaniels you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these Terms.

All content (text and Images) on this website (stubbshallgamedays.co.uk) is the property of Kirkbourne Spaniels and its suppliers unless otherwise stated. All rights reserved. Any unauthorised broadcasting, copying or other use will constitute a breach of copyright.

 

Cancellation Policy

All sessions book are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless cancelled by the organiser. If cancellation is necessary, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss, however refund will be at the organisers discretion.

 A no-show is when a customer misses an appointment without cancelling. In this case any refund of payment cannot be issued.

Complaints

If you are unhappy about the service that we offer or the way in which we deliver it to you, then please advise us in a timely manner and directly to us. We take complaints seriously and will always strive to resolve them in a fair and equitable manner. If you have a complaint, then please get in touch with us as soon as possible via the contact methods listed below. Please ensure your complaint is clear, constructive and gives an accurate idea of the issue based on events.

KIRKBOURNE TRAINING SESSIONS AND EVENTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Contract of Sale

 

Completion of the booking process and acceptance of the terms and conditions forms your contract with Kirkbourne Spaniels. The contract contains the final and entire agreement and understanding between the parties and is the complete and exclusive statement of its terms.

Membership

To take full advantage of training with Kirkbourne Spaniels, Membership is required. This allows for access to discounted full training day and social events, and more importantly the weekly training sessions. Membership status will be checked at each booking. Membership is an annual payment, and ensures insurance cover for all activities. 

Full training sessions can be booked as a non-member where stated, however this will be at a higher rate. 

 

Payment

 

Payment for all Kirkbourne Spaniels training sessions, assessments and events days must be made in advance at time of booking. All bookings are to be via the Kirkbourne Website. It is not possible to attend a session or event unless payment has been received which guarantees a place on any session. Accepted payment methods are by PayPal or credit/debit card online. Please note, it is the student’s responsibility to ensure that payments are made in full.

 

Cancellation and rescheduling

 

No refunds or transfers will be given for cancellation, non-attendance at, or non-completion of any training session (1 to1 or group), class or events. Payment is non refundable, returnable or transferable, unless cancelled by the organiser. 1 to 1s may be rescheduled no later than 2 weeks prior to the date of the 1 to 1 session, after this it will be treated as a cancellation which is non-refundable or transferable.

 

Injured dogs and bitches in season

 

No sick or injured dog or a bitch in seasons is to be brought to any class or event. If it becomes evident of any of these are the case during a session or event by one of the Kirkbourne Trainers, you will be politely asked to leave with your dog for its health and wellbeing, as well as of those around them. 

 

Training Session Content

 

Kirkbourne Spaniels reserves the right to change the content, timing, date, venue, instructors or judges of any of its sessions or events. Kirkbourne Spaniels reserves the right to cancel a training session or events up to and including the date advertised and will strive to give as much notice of this as possible. Individuals booked onto a cancelled course will be given the option of a full refund or taking a place on an alternative date. Kirkbourne Spaniels will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from amendments to the sessions or events, or any cancellations.  

 

Intellectual Property

 

Kirkbourne Spaniels remains the owner of all intellectual property in all training sessions or events and all printed materials which bares it name. All content is original material and property. Printed content and materials are supplied or sold only for your personal use. No part of the materials may be copied, recorded or reproduced without the permission of Kirkbourne Spaniels, and displays this clearly on each item.  

 

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

​Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

Any personal information you give to us will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. Kirkbourne Spaniels will use the information to process your booking only. Any personal data you provide may be held on computer files.

 

Liability

 

Kirkbourne Spaniels and any venue at which a Kirkbourne Spaniels training session or event is held, do not hold any responsibility or liability for any damage or injury caused to you, your dog, 3rd parties or property whilst attending our sessions or events. The use of any equipment is done so at your own risk.

 

Dogs

 

Kirkbourne Spaniels and any venue at which a Kirkbourne Spaniels training session or event is held will not be held responsible for dogs being kept in vehicles in car parks, or harm incurred to any dog(s), as a result of being left unattended in vehicles at any of our sessions or events. Anyone bringing a dog(s) to any a Kirkbourne Spaniels training session or event is responsible for that dog(s) and its welfare at all times. Kirkbourne Spaniels accepts no responsibility for any dog or its welfare at any of its training sessions, events or activities.

 

Classes

 

The following policies are in the interests of all participants and their dogs and by registering for a training session or event with Kirkbourne Spaniels you agree to the following:

 

1.         Keep your dog close to you and under control at all times.

 

2.         Dogs are to be kept on a lead unless instructed otherwise during a training exercise.

 

3.         Please contact us before enrolling if your dog has aggression issues. Dogs that have aggression and fear concerns will need one on one assessment before booking into a group class environment.

 

4.         Do not allow your dog to approach other dogs. Despite the need for owners to socialise their dogs, a strange dog approaching a sensitive dog can cause them to show aggression as a defence strategy.

 

5.         Kirkbourne Spaniels has the right to remove a dog and owner from the session or event (without a refund) if they feel the dog’s behaviour is not managed adequately by the owner and is therefore putting the other participants at risk. A reasons as to why will be given.

 

6.         Please encourage your dogs to relieve themselves before a session. Should a dog relieve themselves before or during a session, anywhere in or outside the training area, the owner will need to clean up and dispose of the waste in a suitable bin. DO NOT LEAVE POOP BAGS ANYWHERE ON THE SITE, or for other people to clean up. If an owner persistently does this, they will not be allowed to attend in the future.

 

7.         All dogs should be fully protected by vaccination before attending classes.

 

8.         Harsh handling is strictly forbidden. If it continues after an initial warning, or is deemed severe enough to considered as cruelty by the Kirkbourne Trainer, the dog and owner will be asked to leave (without a refund).

 

9.         Kirkbourne Spaniels runs a strict ‘1 dog, 1 handler’ rule for any training session or event. If a second member of the family or a friend is to attend as well, they will be asked to remain outside of the training area and to observe only. Kirkbourne Spaniels cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to person or property who has chosen to accompany and observe any training or event.

 

10.       The dog and any other person that is brought to class is the owner’s sole responsibility. Kirkbourne Spaniels cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to person or property that occurs while attending a class.

 

11.       Children are very welcome but they cannot attend on their own (without adult supervision) if under 18 years old. A parent or legal guardian will be asked to observe only if the child is the dogs handler, and refrain from getting involved in the training unless asked to do so my the Kirkbourne trainer. If children have to attend for welfare and safety reasons with a parent or guardian, they must be able to look after themselves for the length of the training session or event and will not be able to join in with the session or event. Kirkbourne Spaniels cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to a child or property who has chosen to accompany and observe any training or event.

 

One to ones

 

Should you be running late, please inform me / us of your delay if possible. It may still be feasible to run the session, although your session may not be extended beyond your booked slot. No refund will be provided for only partial attendance or non-attendance.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Kirkbourne Spaniels may take photos or videos for social media, advertising or instructional use (which in some cases may be part of the learning event itself). If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos at all, please let us know at the beginning of session or event.

 

Kirkbourne Spaniels reserves the right to unilaterally amend and update the above Terms and Conditions at any time.

 

By accessing the Kirkbourne Spaniels website, you are agreeing to be bound by these website Terms and Conditions, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.  

KIRKBOURNE MEMBERSHIP - RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

In the interest of safety, any dog found not to be in control will be asked to be kept on a lead.The training venue is a commercial shoot ground. To ensure game is not disturbed, all visitors to the “Kirkbourne Training” must ensure they do not leave the training area.No bitches in season should attend the training sessions. If your dog is found to be in season you will be asked to leave the training area.Children are welcome but must be under parental supervision.It is the responsibility of all dog handlers to clear up after their dog.Do not leave any dogs in a non-ventilated vehicle and ensure water is available at all times.Handlers must ensure that their dog is not aggressive towards other people or other dogs. Failing to do so will result in being asked to leave the training area.

Inappropriate correction will not be tolerated and will result in you being asked to leave the training area.

 

Handlers should ensure that they wear appropriate footwear which is suitable for undulating grounds to prevent slips, trips and falls.

 

Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Please take proper precautions to secure your vehicle and personal belongings.

 

Members may attend training at any of our training venues.

Kirkbourne Spaniels reserves the right to add new venues and/or discontinue the use of a venue if necessary.
